WPH #433: Can GARRETT Beat A BILLIONAIRE?

Garrett Adelstein is the biggest winner on the Hustler Casino Live stream having won over $1,000,000. In today’s hand he is battling against a billionaire recreational poker player – Stanley Tang.

The hand starts with Stanley raising under the gun (UTG) with AKo and in true aggressive Garrett fashion he opts to 3-bet to isolate the recreational player with A9c. Stanley decides to 4-bet and Garrett calls.

Both players hit top pair on the flop and after some betting the magical speech comes from Garrett as he tries to figure out where he is at in this poker hand.

I discuss how most poker players are not check raising on flops as bluffs as often as they should. This leak allows others to exploit them maximally as the strength of their opponent’s hand is very obvious if they do decide to check-raise!

Can Garrett make the correct decision and fold a very strong hand?

Thank you to Hustler Casino Live for allowing me to use this footage, check out this hand and many more on their amazing YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/HustlerCasinoLive

How To MASTER 3-Betting! | A Little BRÈINFÚEL with Jonathan Little 11-7-2022

One of the best preflop strategies you can add to your poker game is exploitatively 3-betting. By knowing when to three-bet, you can give yourself an edge in poker tournaments and cash games. You don’t always need pocket aces to be aggressive at the poker table.

By the end of today’s stream, I want YOU to take this quiz and let me know in the comments how you do: https://pokercoaching.com/3betquiz

To become a winning Texas hold’em player, you must be willing to put in the time and study poker. If you are never three-betting preflop, you are missing out on an opportunity to exploitatively bluff your opponents. If you only raise with pocket queens and better, opponents will eventually figure out your game.

As a professional poker player, I need to be able to consistently focus throughout the day. I used to drink a lot of coffee to help with focus, but it would inevitably lead to a crash. Then, I discovered BRÈINFÚEL.

It combines everything you need including natural caffeine, MTC oil, vitamin C, vitamin E and collagen to give long lasting energy in a healthy way that allows you to focus your best all day long.

WPH #432: How To Beat AGGRESSIVE Recreational Poker Players!

James Romero is one of the best poker tournament players in the world and here we discuss a hand that he played during the World Series Of Poker (WSOP).

This poker hand took place during a $3,000 6-max event. The villain in the hand is described by James as an aggro whale which means they are extremely aggressive and not necessarily very good!

Together we share some great tips to beat recreational poker players. You should start by quantifying what exactly the biggest mistakes or leaks that these players have. This will give you a good foundation to formulate a poker strategy that you can use to maximally exploit them.

James starts the hand by raising preflop with AJo from the LJ and the villain in the big blind defends. James makes a well thought through check back on the flop as he believes that this opponent will start to bluff too frequently on most turns and rivers. Does the recreational player fall right into his trap?

Preflop Poker RANGES Explained! | A Little BRÈINFÚEL with Jonathan Little 10-31-2022

If you can’t make the right preflop decisions, how can you expect to make the right plays on the flop, turn, or river? Having a profitable preflop poker strategy starts with having a fundamentally sound preflop range. While every poker player knows how to play pocket aces, what other hands should be in your preflop range? ⁣

Your position in a poker hand heavily dictates what your preflop range should be. What the small blind raises with is completely different from what the dealer or the under-the-gun player raises with. While you must have a proper range for your own hands, you must also be aware of the preflop poker ranges of your opponents as well. ⁣

WPH #431: ALL IN With 8 HIGH And $400,000 On The Line!

Stephen Chidwick and David Peters are two titans of the high stakes poker world with almost $100,000,000 in live poker tournament earnings combined.

They are playing in a $25,000 poker tournament as part of the US Poker Open in the PokerGO studio in Las Vegas.

With just 3 players remaining and both of them having the biggest two stacks there are some heavy ICM (Independent Chip Model) implications that must be considered as the other player, Sean Winter, has just 14 big blinds.

When you are a middling stack at a poker final table you are highly incentivized to avoid playing huge pots and risk busting when there is a shorter stack at the table. Stephen Chidwick knows this all too well which will be a big reason that he decides to run a huge bluff against David Peters.

Thank you to PokerGO for allowing me to use this footage, check out this hand and many more on their YouTube channel here: https://youtube.com/pokergo

WPH #430: Can Robbi OWN Garrett In ANOTHER Poker Hand?!

Garrett Adelstein and Robbi Jade Lew are currently two of the most popular names in the poker world due to the recent allegations of cheating on the Hustler Casino Live stream.

This hand takes place between these two household poker names, again on the Hustler stream, but can Robbi find a way to crush Garrett’s hopes and dreams at the poker table once more?

I discuss how the effective stack depth should be a variable to consider when deciding whether to re-raise or call preflop.

It’s always a tricky spot when you have ace king and face continued aggression on the flop when you have missed. It is important to know what suits you have as this will help you decide whether to float the continuation bet assuming that it is a reasonable bet size!

Thank you to Hustler Casino Live for allowing me to use this footage, check out this hand and many more on their amazing YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/HustlerCasinoLive

BLUFF the River Like A PROFESSIONAL Poker Player! | A Little BRÈINFÚEL with Jonathan Little 10-17-2022

You can’t expect to have four of a kind or a full house every time on the river. To be a winning poker player you must be able to bluff when necessary. Today, I will teach you all how to bluff the river like a professional poker player. When watching high stakes poker tournaments and cash games, you will see some of the best poker players in the world make aggressive bluffs many of us do not have in our games. ⁣

When a third club comes on the river and you have the ace of clubs, sometimes you must be willing to represent the flush and go for the bluff. Especially in small stakes poker games, the typical player does not bluff nearly enough, providing a great way for small stakes players to increase their bankroll. ⁣

WPH #429: Would YOU Make This FOLD?! Wolfgang Poker Put To The TEST!

Today for Weekly Poker Hand we look at a hand from up and coming poker vlogger Wolfgang Poker!

I discuss the strategy that you should be thinking about on different flop textures. A JT7 flop is very different to a J62 flop! Your opponent’s are going to have more hands to continue with on a coordinated flop.

Generally you should use a larger continuation bet size when playing very deep stacked and when the board is coordinated.

Remember that most poker players in low stakes cash games do not like to fold a pair or a draw so you should exploitatively size up your bets with your value hands if you know they are not going to fold!

This poker hand took place at the Roosevelt Club in San Angelo, Texas at $1/$2 blinds.

Thank you to Wolfgang for allowing me to use this footage from his poker vlog. Check out his amazing poker channel and journey here: https://youtube.com/alexanderwolfgangpoker

WPH #428: How To DESTROY Recreational POKER Players Ft. Jaman Burton!

Jaman Burton aka The Drawing Dead finds himself in the $2/$5 cash game at the Encore in Las Vegas. He is against a tricky opponent who has been hyper aggressive.

Facing a tricky limp re-raiser is always a tricky spot to navigate in a poker hand. It really does depend on your opponent. If they are a tight OMC (Old Man Coffee) you can be sure that they will have a top 1% hand! What about a splashy aggressive poker player that might have too much to drink?

Be aware of the players that are limp re-raising and just choose to call more frequently preflop with your strong but non nutted hands. You don’t need to raise limpers every single time!

Thank you to Jaman Burton for allowing me to use the footage from this poker vlog. Check out his incredible poker channel ‘The Drawing Dead’ here: https://youtube.com/jamanburton
