I have been told quite a few times that I should have more face time with the people I work with, so we took a trip to Vegas. It was awesome! We worked hard and played poker even harder, including a win in the poker tournament for $8,000!
…or watch if you want advice on holding onto your money from poker legend Mike Sexton.
Thanks for watching! If you enjoyed this video and know someone it may benefit, please share it with them. Mike and I both want to help people not make the same mistakes we did. Be sure to check back next week for another educational blog post.
I discuss playing the PartyPoker WPT $5,000 buy-in Main Event at the Playground Poker Club in Montreal, Canada. Can I get in the money?!? I also had fun at the Halloween party and grinding a bit online on PartyPoker. Featured pros include Kitty Kuo, Ari Engel, Alex Fitzgerald, Mike Sexton, and more! Check it out and let me know what you think!
I love my students and want to help them as much as I can. To say I put out a lot of content for them is the understatement of the year. Each week I spend numerous hours making podcasts (both in audio and video form). In this blog post, I will explain the differences between the three podcasts. If you do not already, please subscribe and share them with your friends! If you have any comments or ideas for making the podcasts better, please let me know in the comment section below. I am always trying to improve!
Weekly Poker Hand was my first podcast started over four years ago. I go through one interesting hand each week and explain my thought process on each betting round. Sometimes I review my hands and other times I review small stakes hands. Starting in episode 200, I started using live footage instead of a replayer. So far, you seem to like that better, so I will keep it up.
In November, PartyPoker is having a major tournament series featuring two (yes, 2!) $10,000,000 guaranteed events called the Caribbean Poker Party at Baha Mar, a new luxury resort in the Bahamas and asked if I would go there to make a video blog showing off the resort. Seeing how Amie and I have not had a non-poker vacation away together in two years, we were celebrating our three-year anniversary, and are expecting our second son in December, how could I say no?
This video features lots of time at the beach, amazing dinners, and maybe even a little blackjack action.
