Joe raises with with A-T to 25% of his starting stack but then folds to a 3-bet. Do you make this play on a regular basis? How does it work out in your games?

  1. Jonathan,

    In the situation with Joe’s A-10 and Lon’s K-K, would Joe have been better off checking pre-flop rather than betting and then folding to a 3-bet? That would have given him a vantage point of better assessing what the hand would have cost him to play, while stewarding his limited chips.
