Thanks for this hand Jonathan. It’s a mental battle for me as I tend to convince myself my opponent got there with every “bad” card and give up too many hands. The “expecting bad things to happen” mindset can also cause betting too much to drive out draws (and hands I have in bad shape)- these two issues can cost me lots of money if I don’t plug the leaks so I appreciate the help!
I’m happy to help. Most people either think their opponent always has the nuts or never has the nuts. In reality, it is somewhere in between.
