A Triton Poker title had eluded Jonathan Jaffe and Brian Kim for many years. Still, the two American professionals managed to navigate their way down to heads-up in this $50,000 bounty tournament. In the first hand of heads-up play, Kim ran a huge bluff against Jaffe, but could Jaffe hold on for three streets to take the title home?
Pot odds are very important when making decisions at any point in a poker hand. For example, when facing a decision on the river and you are getting 2:1 pot odds you only have to be right 33% of the time. When you are at the top of your range you should often make the call.

Triton Poker was founded in 2015 by Paul Phua and Richard Yong; their aim was to attract a healthy mixture of recreational poker players and seasoned poker professionals. Part of what makes the Triton Series so special is that it’s open to a wide range of poker players – not just a select few. They envisioned Triton as a series of poker events providing excellent entertainment value for audiences passionate about poker. Some of the most famous poker players to have appeared at Triton events have been Phil Ivey ‘RaiseOnce’, Tom Dwan ‘Durrr’, Patrick Antonius ‘The Finn’, Michael Addamo ‘imluckbox’, Chris Brewer, Jason Koon, Tony G, Dan Cates ‘Jungleman’, Doug Polk ‘WCGRider’, Stephen Chidwick ‘stevie444’, Linus Loeliger ‘LLinusLLove’, Isaac Haxton ‘philivey2694’, Mikita Badziakouski ‘fish2013’, Timofey Kuznetsov ‘Trueteller’ and many more

🔍 Preflop:
In the very first hand of heads-up play in this Triton turbo bounty poker tournament, Brian Kim calls from the small blind with T4o. Jonathan Jaffe checks from the big blind with Q6o, and they both head to the flop.
💸 Flop – Kd 6s 2s:
Jaffe flops best with second pair on the king-high two-spade board. He checks, and Kim fires out a bet of 200,000 with no pair or draw. Jaffe calls to see the turn.
💣 Turn – 3d:
The 3 of diamonds on the turn brings the appearance of a second flush draw. Jaffe checks once more with his pair of sixes. Kim, having picked up a backdoor gutshot straight draw, decides to fire a second barrel of 700,000. Jaffe puts in another call, and they head to the river.
🌊 River – As:
The As on the river completes the front door flush and results in another overcard for Jaffe, whose pair of sixes are now third pair on the board. After he checks, Kim announces all-in for 2,425,000. If Jaffe calls, he would take home his first Triton Poker title and the $500,000 that goes with it. But can he sniff out Kim’s bluff, or will he fold and keep Kim alive in the hunt for the title as well?
