Hold on to your seats as Asian poker legend Michael Soyza battles it out against Ukraine’s poker powerhouse Olga Iermolcheva in this fascinating poker hand, which sees Soyza put to the test on a horrible river!
In some situations, such as 4-straight boards players will tend to under-bluff and therefore it becomes reasonable to fold out a higher percentage of your bluff-catchers, even if they are very strong.
Michael Soyza is a professional poker player from Malaysia. He has over $15,000,000 in total live earnings, putting him in the top 75 on the all-time money list. His biggest live cash of over $2,200,000 came from the $100,000 Vietnam Triton main event, where he finished second to Talal Shakerchi in 2023. He is the co-owner of the Asian Poker Tour (APT).
Olga Iermolcheva is a professional poker player from Ukraine. She has over $700,000 in live tournament earnings, Her best live cash of $113,580 came from the $2,500 Latin American Poker Tour – LAPT Panama, Panama City, Main Event in 2015.
Filmed in Seoul, South Korea and hosted by experienced poker broadcaster Ali Nejad, Game of Gold combines high stakes poker with survival reality TV. Over the course of the 12 episodes, the sixteen participants compete across various poker formats, including Sit & Go and Heads-Up games, Indian Poker and a standard tournament poker game.
The participants included Daniel Negreanu “KidPoker”, Jason Koon, Fedor Holz “CrownUpGuy”, Kevin Martin, Kyna England, Josh Arieh, Daniel Cates “Jungleman”, Lukas Robinson “RobinPoker”, Nikita Luther, Charlie Carrel “Epiphany77”, Johan Guilbert “YoH ViraL”, Olga Iermolcheva, David Williams, Andy Tsai “Andy Stacks”, Michael Soyza, and Maria Ho.
In Round 1, a four-tier Sit & Go poker format, each team (spades, diamonds, hearts, and clubs) put a poker player into a separate round of four-handed poker action, with Game of Gold coins on offer for finishing first, second, third, or fourth. The rounds increased in amount, until the fourth ‘mystery’ round, where it was unknown how many gold coins were on offer. The team with the least amount of Game of Gold coins at the end of all rounds would be eliminated.
The final six players competed in a winner-take-all format SNG. This was unique as it meant there was no ICM (Independent Chip Model) pressure on any of the poker players.
Game of Gold Results

When you are in a position where your opponents are unlikely to have a super strong hand, it might be a good time to use a small bet size. This allows you to sneak out a little extra value from weak poker hands that would fold to a big bet. Simultaneously, you give some stronger hands and bluffs a chance to raise and re-open the action.

Is this an unspoken rule of poker streams that should just never happen? Andy Stacks is furious at the newcomer Eric who is gracing the popular Hustler Casino Live stream for the first time. What are your thoughts on what happens? Is Andy right or wrong?

🃏 Preflop:
The action starts with Henry who opts to raise with K9s from the cutoff, Will defends his big blind with QJo. Eric in the straddle looks down at pocket jacks aka the Jiggities and decides to 3-bet to $6,400. Both Henry and Will decide to call as all three of them head to the flop.
🔥 Flop – Kd Kc 9c:
Henry couldn’t have really asked for a better flop as he cannot believe his eyes as he flops a full house! Will, who has a gutshot, decides to check to the preflop aggressor. Eric continues to tell his story of strength with a small continuation bet of $6,000. Henry correctly identifies that this is a spot that he should slowplay and elects for a call. Will folds in the big blind.
💪 Turn – Jc:
The turn is an absolute disaster for Eric but he doesn’t know it as he now hits a full house too. Eric now thinks he is laying the trap as he decides to get tricky and check. Henry quite rightly wants to keep building a pot and sends out a bet of $15,000. Eric makes an easy call. He doesn’t want to scare his opponent away in case he is bluffing as he believes he has the hand locked up!
🚀 River – 2d:
The river card changes nothing in their relative hand strength. Eric decides to check again, praying that Henry fires again. His prayers are answered as Henry shoves for $48,500 into the $62,500 pot. Eric snap calls and is shown the terrible news, his full house is no good!

Ivey’s Room, located at Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, was established in 2010. Named after the legendary poker pro Phil Ivey, the high-stakes poker room quickly gained a reputation as a hotspot for professional and high-stakes players. Over the years, it hosted some of the most intense poker action in Las Vegas, attracting renowned players. In 2019, the room underwent renovations and rebranding as “Table 1.” Although no longer carrying Phil Ivey’s name, it remains a prominent venue for high-stakes poker and exclusive gaming experiences. Today, Table 1 at Aria continues to offer a luxurious and private poker setting for players seeking top-level competition and service in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip.
🔥 Brace yourselves for jaw-dropping action at the Aria Hotel & Casino’s legendary Table 1 in Las Vegas! In this $25/$50 cash game, poker sensation & popular vlogger Brad Owen unleashes an audacious play with the infamous 72o, the worst starting hand in poker.
🎉 The 7-2 Game:
It is important to note that this table is playing the 7-2 game. Any player that wins with this hand and opts to show the table will collect a $200 bounty from each player, this creates extremely fun dynamics at the table as players will play extremely aggressively with this hand rather than just making the standard fold preflop!
🃏 Preflop:
Brad Owen opens the action under the gun with a raise to $200 with the not so beautiful 72o. In an ideal situation everyone would just fold preflop for him to collect the easiest $1,400 of his life, but alas in a high stakes poker game that rarely happens and in this case he picks up two callers from the cutoff and button.
🔥 Flop – Qc 6d 3c:
It’s very unlikely you will hit a good flop when holding the 72o and that is no different here as Brad flops absolutely nothing. This doesn’t slow him down though as he has his eyes on the $1,400 jackpot. He continues his story with a half pot bet of $400. That forces the cutoff to fold but unfortunately for Brad the button decides to stick around for the turn card.
💪 Turn – 8h:
Brad Owen now only has to get through one player and continues betting this time for just over 2/3 pot as he fires $1,110 into the $1,575 pot. His prayers are not answered as the button calls once more.
🚀 River – 5s:
The river provides some promise for Brad as he now has a card that blocks some straights. He decides to fire the third barrel and opts for a $1,700 bet. Will his opponent fold so that Brad can triumphantly reveal the 7-2 bluff and collect the $1,400 prize from his opponents? Watch this poker video to find out!

This high stakes poker hand from Hustler Casino Live needs to be watched to be believed! Andy Stacks takes on the infamous Martin Kabrhel and decides to run a rather crazy 3 barrel bluff, but will it work?
Jonathan believes that the preflop raise from Andy Stacks might be a little bit loose with just J9 offsuit as there are still 4 people left to act. You should use suited hands to raise as they give you more equity to hit flushes!
He likes Andy’s bet on the flop as usually when you have a draw that completely lacks showdown value you usually want to bet as you can get a lot of better hands to fold and if you are called you still have equity to make a very strong hand!
When you are playing in extremely deep stacked cash games your semi bluffs should come from hands that are drawing to the nuts or very close to the nuts! Andy has a pretty bad draw with no backdoor clubs on the flop.
Jonathan would have preferred Andy to use a hand like AT to bluff with because at least it is drawing to the nuts and may also be strong enough to win if he were to hit an ace.
He does like the fact that Andy now bluffs the river when the ace comes as it puts a lot of Martin’s hands in the world of pain, like the one that he has! The shove from Martin is fairly confusing as he has a good hand to bluff catch with especially as his shove will give Andy incredible odds to call if he were to have a stronger hand.
The action in this crazy high stakes poker hand starts with Andy Stacks raising from the cutoff to $2,400 with J9o. Infamous table talker Martin Kabrhel deciding to defend from the 3rd blind with KJc.
The flop gives Martin a monster pair and a flush draw and gives Andy just a gutshot. Andy continues to tell his story with a $2,300 bet but Martin is going nowhere! He decides to put in the check raise to $7,000. Andy then responds with a 3-bet to $20,000! Martin makes the easy call.
The turn brings no help to Andy as it is an off suit 6. Martin checks to him and Andy decides to keep bluffing and bets $42,000 with just jack high! Martin again makes the call.
The river is an off suit ace which can’t be too thrilling for Kabrhel. He checks once more and Andy decides to go for the third barrel and fires $150,000 on the river! What will Martin do when facing such a large bet? Watch this video to find out more!
