  1. Hello John,

My name is John as well. I am a special forces weapons sergeant who has a real hunger to become a professional player. I play poker every day whether it is online or at the Pensacola Greyhound track in Florida. I am currently reading your book on tournament poker and I find it to be awesome. I have never not accomplished something in my life that I put my mind to. I am a very highly motivated person and I believe I am a exceptional poker player. I also know from job experience that if you want to be the best it helps to pay attention and learn from the best. You are one of the best players in the game and I would be honored to learn from you. You would not be wasting your time on me. I make a living by learning and applying different tactical techniques and poker is a very tactical game. Please choose me for this learning opportunity. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

    Very Respectfully

    1. Unfortunately I am not actually choosing who wins. It is a random drawing. I wish you the best of luck! Also be sure to check out all of my free products spread throughout this site. I hope you enjoy it!

  2. Nice video. I really enjoyed.

I’ve noticed your name as one of the creator of MTT training on a site I was using before (Advanced Poker Training). I would like to ask you. Do you honestly think playing on APT is better, more effective and quicker way to become very good tournament player? (only at the beginning though I believe) How would you compare it with playing an online tournament?

    1. Most likely, playing against real opponents for real money is better “training”. That being said, the structured approach of ATP is excellent for people who lack the fundamentals because it goes through routine spots that you will somewhat randomly encounter in the real world. I think ATP is an excellent learning tool.
